Application Scope:

Suitable for STP / ETP / WTP inlet works, small to medium flow installations, and standby screening systems.

Design Configuration

The Manual Bar Screen consists of vertical or inclined stainless steel bars placed at uniform spacing. As wastewater flows through the channel, large solids such as plastics, rags, sticks, and debris are trapped on the bars.

• Type: Vertical / Inclined (60°–75°) bar arrangement
• Bar Profile: Flat / Rectangular bars with smooth edge finishing
• Clear Opening (Spacing): 10 mm to 50 mm (customized as per requirement)
• Screen Width: 300 mm to 300 mm
• Screen Depth: 600 mm to 5000 mm
• Approach Velocity: 0.6 – 1.0 m/s
• Head Loss (Clean Screen): 50 – 150 mm
